Products Description
A peanut blancher is a machine designed for removing the skin of peanuts through a heating and mechanical process. Key components of the blancher include a heated air chamber, rotating drum, and pneumatic separator. The machine first subjects peanuts to high-temperature air, typically around 70-80°C, causing the peanut skins to become dry. As peanuts pass through the rotating drum, the dried skins are gently rubbed off without damaging the kernel. A pneumatic system then separates the skins from the kernels, ensuring a clean final product. Peanut blanchers can process hundreds of kilograms per hour, making them essential in large-scale peanut processing.
Product features
Precise Skin Removal
The peanut blancher achieves skin removal rates as high as 98-99% without damaging the kernels, thanks to its controlled temperature settings (typically between 70-80°C) and gentle abrasion in the rotating drum. A built-in thermostat and heating elements can control a uniform temperature. The rotating drum features textured surfaces or paddles that gently rub the peanut skins off while the peanuts rotate within the chamber, preventing excessive force that could crack or damage the kernels. The combination of heat and mechanical abrasion ensures efficient skin removal without compromising the quality of the peanuts.
Automated Separation
Using an automated pneumatic system with an air velocity of 10-15 m/s, the peanut blancher efficiently separates peanut skins from the kernels by utilizing directed airflows. This system works by creating a pressure difference between the light peanut skins and the heavier kernels. As the peanuts exit the blanching drum, the pneumatic system directs a stream of air through the separation chamber, lifting and carrying the lightweight skins away while the heavier, skinless peanuts drop into a collection area. This setup eliminates the need for manual sorting, minimizes human error, and reduces contamination risks, ensuring that only blanched peanuts continue through the production line.
Efficient Throughput Production Process
A peanut blancher operates in a highly efficient sequence to achieve high throughput, processing between 200 to 500 kilograms of peanuts per hour. The process begins with automated feeding, where peanuts are continuously introduced into the blancher, minimizing manual labor and ensuring a steady supply. After blanching, the blancher's automated discharge system then removes the blanched peanuts from the machine, ensuring smooth transfer to the next processing stage without interruption. The entire operation is continuous, meaning that as one batch of peanuts exits, another enters, reducing the time and resources needed for large-scale production.
