The operation of apoultry feed pellet machine is relatively simple, and involves several stages:
Preparation – All the raw materials, feed ingredients, and other necessary additives are weighed, measured and placed into the feed hopper.

Cooling – The freshly formed pellets are then passed through a cooling chamber, which chills the pellets rapidly. Cooling helps to reduce the temperature and moisture content of the feed and helps to increase the shelf life of the pellets.
Sorting – The entire batch is then sorted by size. This ensures that all the pellets are of uniform size and that the right size and weight feed is going to the right animals.
Packaging – The sorted pellets are then packaged according to the specifications of the buyer. The packages may be a combination of different feed ingredients or just a plain, unadulterated feed.Once the above steps are followed, the poultry feed pellets are now ready for sale, or can be stored or transported to the end user.Poultry feed pellet machines are also equipped with some safety systems which help protect the operator from potential accidents.
