Recently, the Henan Lerford machinery production base completed the standardized packaging of a complete puffed food processing line. The core equipment-including an air-flow puffing machine, an octagonal seasoning machine, and a jacketed mixing kettle-is set to clear customs and be shipped to a Russian snack manufacturer, injecting the momentum of "Made in China" into the upgrading of the local snack food industry.

Project Background
In recent years, economic and trade ties between China and Russia have deepened, and the demand for puffed snacks in Russia has risen steadily. Local food factories urgently require automated, highly adaptable processing lines to expand production capacity. The Russian client, a long-established producer of grain-based puffed snacks and casual treats, faced issues with their existing equipment, such as inconsistent puffing, uneven seasoning application, and high labor costs. After comparing various domestic and international manufacturers and observing live video demonstrations of the machinery at the Lerford facility, the client was impressed by the equipment's stability, the use of 304 food-grade stainless steel, and the customized design optimized for cold-climate operations. Consequently, they finalized the order for the complete puffed food processing line.
Core Configuration and Advantages of the Equipment
The puffed food production line destined for Russia consists of two core machines and a full suite of auxiliary equipment, creating an integrated processing workflow that spans from raw material puffing to seasoning:
Air-Flow Puffing Machine
This machine utilizes a high-pressure air-flow instantaneous puffing process with a controllable expansion ratio. It is compatible with various raw materials-such as corn, rice, and mixed grains-and ensures uniform fluffiness in the finished puffed products. Upgraded with low-temperature protection features, the machine is suitable for the cold workshop environments typical of Russian winters. It offers lower energy consumption and a low failure rate, enabling stable, continuous production and significantly boosting per-shift output.

Octagonal Seasoning Machine
This seasoning machine features a classic octagonal drum design that simultaneously applies oil spray and seasoning powder. The tumbling action ensures no "dead zones," resulting in evenly seasoned snacks without clumping. Constructed entirely from food-grade stainless steel, the unit is easy to disassemble and clean, meeting Eurasian food hygiene standards. It supports the seasoning of a wide variety of snacks, including potato chips, rice crackers, and grain crisps.

Rigorous Packaging and Quality Control for Secure Cross-Border Transport
To ensure protection against impacts, moisture, and corrosion during long-distance land and sea transport, Lerford strictly adheres to standardized export packaging procedures:
1. Full coverage of the equipment body with multiple layers of EPE foam;
2. Independent moisture-proof wooden crating for precision electronic control components;
3. Securing the entire unit with thick stretch wrap;
4. Individually boxing fragile parts and components with Russian-language labeling; and
5. Printing all equipment nameplates and operational labels in a bilingual format. Packing lists, commodity inspection records, and customs clearance documents have been prepared; the shipment is scheduled to be loaded onto trucks shortly for transport to the port and onward to the Russian client's facility.
