[Press Release] Lerford WSSH-60 Stainless Steel Snack Extruder Shipped to Cambodia Today – Empowering Localized Healthy Snack Production in Southeast Asia with "Food-Grade Reliability"

Official packaging
On March 31, 2026, Lerford Intelligent Equipment officially shipped its latest generation WSSH-60 stainless steel snack extruder. The equipment has completed all factory inspections, 304 stainless steel surface passivation treatment, and double-layer moisture-proof reinforced packaging (inner aluminum foil lining + outer plywood box). It departed from Guangzhou Port and was directly shipped to Sihanoukville Port, Cambodia. This delivery marks a crucial step for Lerford in the Southeast Asian snack equipment market – not only exporting equipment, but also exporting mature extrusion process capabilities adapted to tropical raw materials, small-batch multi-formulation, and high hygiene standards.

Why the WSSH-60?
Why the WSSH-60? It's not just a machine that "puffs," but a machine "designed specifically for snacks":
✅ Genuine food-grade stainless steel structure: All parts in contact with materials (screw, barrel, mold, feed hopper) are 100% made of SUS304 stainless steel, with mirror-polished inner walls (Ra≤0.4μm), eliminating dead corners, easy to clean, and resistant to acid and alkali corrosion, fully meeting HACCP and Cambodian Food Authority (MOPH) hygiene standards for snack food production equipment;

✅ Snack-oriented intelligent control logic: Based on the characteristics of mainstream Southeast Asian raw materials such as tapioca flour, purple sweet potato flour, and coconut flour, it features 7 pre-set puffing curve templates, temperature control accuracy ±1.5℃, and steplessly adjustable screw speed of 440–550 r/min-low speed ensures feeding stability, high speed enhances shear homogenization, resulting in a stable finished product puffing rate ≥4.0 times and a thickness tolerance <±0.18mm;

✅ Lightweight, compact, and ready to use: The machine weighs only 300kg net, with packaging dimensions of 1180×1120×1250mm (compatible with standard shipping pallets), significantly reducing the difficulty of hoisting and layout in Cambodian factories; it comes standard with a variable frequency motor (15kW), compatible with the local 380V/50Hz power grid, and reserves 15% power margin to cope with voltage fluctuations;
✅ Solid and reliable actual production capacity: With raw materials specified by the Cambodian customer (locally dried cassava granules, moisture content 12.3%), the average output reached 116.2 kg/h after 8 hours of continuous operation, with energy consumption 9.7% lower than similar models in the industry. The crispness and color consistency of the finished product were confirmed by the customer on-site.

A good machine shouldn't leave customers with confidence based on specifications; it should provide the answer on the production line. The WSSH-60 is heading to Phnom Penh, where the first batch of locally manufactured cassava chips awaits its first "puffing" echo.
