Multi-functional grain dehuller recently produced by Henan Lerford Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd. (Zhengzhou Lerford) has passed the factory inspections and has been packaged for protection. The machine is now ready to be shipped to Tanzania to serve as a highly efficient and mechanized local grain processing solution.
The customer is from Tanzania, a place where they grow maize, sorghum, millet and wheat crops. But traditional manual dehulling methods of limited efficiency, severe grain breakage, and high labor costs imposed barriers to the development of deep processing of grain.
After much consultation and consideration, the customer purchased our multi-purpose grain dehuller for their local processing. Mechanically separating the outer husk from the edible endosperm improves the quality of the end product and the throughput.
This multi-purpose dehuller can hull many types of grain (wheat, rice, maize, sorghum, millet, barley), this is what make different dehulling operations on different crops, without changing major parts of the machine.
The machine works adopting the friction-cum-compression dehulling principle with dehulling efficiency≥95% and grain breakage ≤3%. This is a full use of nutrients extraction process; the treated grain can be directly eaten or used as raw material of high quality for maize flour and other grain-based products.
To deal with power supply instability in some African regions, the machine can be powered by a electric motor or a diesel engine.
1. The electric model can be powered by 220V household power or 380V industrial power.
2. The diesel model works off the grid and can operate for 4 to 8 hours on a tank of fuel; it is perfect for use at farms or in the field at temporary processing sites.
Smaller versions of the machine cover only 0.5-2 m² and are the mobility of the machine can be enhanced with the addition of casters, this also getting rid of complex installation or anchorage. Boasting a simple control panel and minimum maintenance needs, anyone can be trained to operate it, which is well suited for processing units of small to medium scales, village level processing centers and family-run units across the length and breadth of Africa.
During the product export packaging process must comply with the standards of sea-based logistics packaging: The metal parts are covered with oil anti-rust and the precision parts such as motor and control box are packed separately with oil. The whole unit is then packed in a find wood case fumigated with an internal reinforcement that shields the u4n against jarring and tossing while carrying it out to the sea. Also included is a full set of documents - the ones needed for customs clearance, English operation and maintenance manuals, and even equipment test-run videos - to facilitate customs clearance and fast start-up in production.
