Synchronized dual-head operation for doubled processing capacity.
The machine with two separate peeling units can peel two pumpkins at one time, and the peach peeling machine capacity is 400–600 pcs per hour. The output is several times that of typical single-head peelers, and is perfectly suited for continuous assembly line production 24 hours per day, as is typical in the Polish factories, and resolving the issue of low output from doing manual peeling.
2. Food-grade materials comply with the hygiene requirements of the EU
The whole equipment and all components contacting the fruit are made of 304 food-grade stainless steel. It is a water-resistant, non-toxic, and safe material and the machine is disassembled easily for cleaning on daily and also in a way ensuring with the demands of high-class European food-factory hygienic rules. The base has locking casters so the machine can be rolled and locked in place for use in your shop.
3. Peeling thickness can be adjusted; flesh loss is minimal
The machine uses a pneumatic contour-following cutting unit which adjusts to the uneven surface of the pumpkin. The peeling thickness can be adjusted so that only the hardened outer skin is taken off, but the maximum amount of edible flesh is kept. Achieving a peeling rate of over 95%, it can reduce waste of raw material, and can process different types of pumpkins such as the elongated Miben pumpkin, round pumpkin and Kabocha (Beibei) pumpkin.
4. Wide range of processing: one machine can be used for different fruits and vegetables with thick skin.
The machinery can process products with diameters from 50 to 350mm and lengths from 20 to 850mm. In addition to pumpkins, it can also peel other thick-skinned fruits and vegetables, including papayas, winter melons, Hami melons and pomelos, making it applicable for all kinds of deep-processing production lines.
5. Easy to learn and operate electronic controls.
The system has its own start/stop buttons and pressure-controlling components, so it is very easy to operate. It is equipped with overload protection, which is activated immediately in the event of machine stalls by hard rinds, so as to reduce the damage to vulnerable parts, such as blades and spindles, and to keep maintenance fees low in the long term. An operation and maintenance manual (Polish, English) is included for easy learning for local operators.
In order to resist long sea shipping and ensure quality, the factory has the whole machine tightly comply with the export packaging standard: the whole machine is packaged with multi-layer moisture and dust prevention plastic film, and crystal components (such as blades and pneumatic parts) are packed with foams. Spare blades, seals, and tools for maintenance are packaged separately. Finally, the unit is locked into a custom solid wood reinforced export crate to stop any damage from salt spray, turbulence, or impacts, and it certainly does arrive in Poland intact, ready for installation, commissioning, and production immediately.
Poland is one of the most important fruit and vegetable deep processing markets in the EU, and is also a major area for ready-made meals and quick frozen fruit/vegetable fillers. In the past, manual pumpkin peeling was a common practice used in many processing plants, incurring high labor costs and producing uneven quality.
