Before operation
Inspect the machine: comprehensively inspect all parts of the corn harvester, including the header, conveyor chain, threshing device, cleaning device, etc., to ensure that all parts are firmly connected without looseness, deformation, damage, etc. At the same time, check the lubrication of each part, add lubricating oil as required to ensure smooth operation of the machine.
Check the tire: check whether the tire pressure is normal, whether there is damage or cracks on the tire surface. If the air pressure is insufficient, it should be inflated in time. If there is a problem with the tire, it should be replaced or repaired in time to ensure driving safety and the stability of the machine.
Check the fuel, hydraulic oil and coolant: ensure that the fuel volume is sufficient, the hydraulic oil and coolant levels are within the normal range, and check their quality. If deterioration or contamination is found, it should be replaced in time to avoid affecting the normal operation of the machine due to oil problems.
Adjust machine parameters: According to the actual conditions of corn planting row spacing, plant spacing, height, etc., reasonably adjust the header height, reel speed and position, ear picking roller gap and other parameters to ensure the harvesting effect and reduce losses.
During operation
Starting and driving: Start smoothly and avoid sudden acceleration and braking. When driving in the field, control the speed according to the road conditions and crop conditions. Generally, you can speed up appropriately in flat areas with low crop density, and slow down in low-lying areas with obstacles or high crop density to prevent the machine from collision, damage or blockage.
Observe the operation situation: Always pay attention to the working status of the machine, listen carefully to whether the operation sound of each component is normal, and observe the working conditions of the header, conveying, threshing, cleaning and other devices. If abnormal sounds or blockages are found, stop the machine immediately for inspection, and continue the operation after troubleshooting.
Pay attention to grain unloading safety: When unloading grain, make sure there are no people and obstacles around, and operate the grain unloading device according to the operating procedures to prevent grain from spilling or injuring people. At the same time, pay attention to the height of the grain in the grain box to avoid overfilling and overflowing.
Keep a safe distance: When multiple harvesters are working at the same time, keep a sufficient safety distance, generally the horizontal distance is not less than 5 meters, and the longitudinal distance is not less than 20 meters, to prevent collision accidents.
After the operation
Cleaning the machine: After the operation, clean up the straw, soil, grains and other debris on the machine in time, especially the cutting table, conveyor chain, threshing device and other parts to prevent the debris from corroding the machine parts or affecting the next use.
Inspection and maintenance: Check the parts of the machine again for wear and damage, and replace the parts with serious wear. Perform comprehensive maintenance on the machine, such as replacing lubricating oil and filters, to prepare for the next operation.
Storing the machine: Park the corn harvester in a dry and ventilated place, preferably in a special hangar. If stored in the open air, cover it with canvas or plastic cloth to prevent the machine from getting damp and rusting. At the same time, remove the battery for charging and keep it properly to prevent power loss.
