What are the precautions for using plastic crusher?

Preparation before operation

Inspect the equipment: carefully check the appearance of the equipment to ensure that the machine body is not damaged or cracked. Focus on checking the connection parts, such as whether the screws are tightened, to avoid abnormal vibration or failure due to loose parts during equipment operation. At the same time, check the tightness of the belt. If it is too loose, it is easy to slip and affect the transmission efficiency; if it is too tight, it will accelerate the wear of the belt and even damage the bearing.

Clean the crushing chamber: Be sure to remove the plastic fragments and debris remaining in the crushing chamber. Residual materials may affect the crushing effect of new materials, and may also cause increased wear of the tool and even cause blockage.
Check the tool: The tool is a key component of the plastic crusher. Carefully check the wear of the tool. If the blade is obviously worn, notched or blunted, it should be replaced or polished in time to ensure the crushing efficiency and quality. At the same time, ensure that the tool is firmly installed to prevent the tool from loosening and throwing out during operation, causing serious safety accidents.

Choose a suitable screen: Select a suitable screen according to the size of the plastic particles to be crushed. The aperture of the screen determines the particle size of the plastic particles after crushing. An inappropriate screen will make the product particle size not

meet the requirements and affect subsequent use.

Ensure good grounding: To prevent electric shock accidents, the equipment must be reliably grounded. Check whether the grounding line is connected normally and whether the grounding resistance meets safety standards.
Operation process specifications

Uniform feeding: Keep the feeding uniform and avoid putting too much plastic at one time to prevent the feed port from being blocked, or the motor load from suddenly increasing due to excessive instantaneous feed volume, or even burning the motor. At the same time, pay attention to the feed speed should match the crushing capacity of the equipment to maintain stable production efficiency.

Avoid the mixing of foreign matter such as metal: Strictly prevent hard foreign matter such as metal and stone from entering the crusher. These foreign matter will not only seriously damage the knives and screens, but may also cause violent vibrations of the equipment, damage other components, and even cause personal injury.

Pay attention to the operating status of the equipment: During the operation, the operator shall not leave the post without authorization, and must pay close attention to the operating sound, temperature, current and other parameters of the equipment. If the equipment makes abnormal sounds, such as sharp friction sounds, impact sounds, or the motor temperature is too high and the current suddenly increases, it should be stopped immediately for inspection and continue to operate after troubleshooting.
Overload operation is prohibited: pay attention to the load of the equipment, and do not allow the equipment to operate in an overloaded state for a long time. Overload can easily cause the motor to overheat, shorten the motor life, and even cause motor failure. When it is found that the equipment load is close to or exceeds the rated value, the feed speed should be adjusted in time or the feed amount should be reduced.

Maintenance after operation

Cleaning the equipment: After use, cut off the power first, wait for the equipment to stop running completely, and then clean the plastic powder and debris remaining inside and outside the crusher. You can use tools such as brushes and vacuum cleaners to ensure that the equipment is clean and prevent the material residue from corroding the equipment and affecting the next use.

Maintain the tool: Maintain the tool regularly, such as applying anti-rust oil to prevent the tool from rusting. When not in use for a long time, the tool should be disassembled and properly stored.
Check components: Check each component of the equipment to see if there is wear, looseness, etc. If any component is severely worn, it should be replaced in time; loose screws need to be retightened to prepare for the next use.
Storage environment: Store the equipment in a dry and well-ventilated place to avoid rusting of the equipment and damage to electrical components due to a humid environment. At the same time, prevent the equipment from being collided or squeezed by other objects, causing unnecessary damage.
