On February 6, 2026, a new type of large-scale corn thresher, independently developed and manufactured by Zhengzhou Lerford Machinery Equipment Co., Ltd., completed its final factory inspection and packaging and was officially shipped to Zambia in Africa.
This equipment has been specifically optimized for the actual operating environment of tropical agricultural countries like Zambia, which are characterized by high temperatures, dust, and unstable power supply. It features a modular, high-strength drum structure and a self-adaptive feeding system, capable of processing over 2 tons of corn per hour. Equipped with a wide-voltage starting motor and low-loss flexible threshing technology, it ensures high efficiency while strictly controlling the grain breakage rate to within 1.2%, effectively contributing to reducing losses and increasing efficiency in local staple food production.
Large-scale multi-functional threshing machines are key pieces of machinery in modern agricultural production, used for the efficient and clean threshing and preliminary cleaning of various grain crops (such as wheat, rice, corn, soybeans, sorghum, etc.). They have evolved from traditional, single-function threshing tools into integrated, automated, and highly efficient complex agricultural equipment.
This export not only includes equipment delivery, but Lerford also dispatched a technical team to conduct two weeks of online on-site operation training and established a localized service response mechanism, covering spare parts supply, remote diagnostics, and annual maintenance support.
In recent years, with the continuous deepening of agricultural cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative, domestically produced grain processing equipment is rapidly entering the African market with its strong practicality, high adaptability, and timely service.
