Our workshop has been bustling with activity lately. Today, we finally finished packing a batch of hydraulic oil presses and vacuum oil filters, preparing them for shipment to Nigeria.

This batch of machinery was custom-ordered by a client; from production and assembly to debugging, quality inspection, and finally-packing and reinforcement-we meticulously executed every single step. Now, the entire shipment has been loaded into wooden crates and awaits container loading for transport.

Pre-shipment Preparations
Guarding Against the Hazards of Sea Freight
When shipping to Africa via sea freight, we are primarily concerned about three issues: the long transit distance and associated vibrations, the high humidity at sea, and the potential for bolts to loosen due to prolonged shaking. Consequently, for this shipment, we utilized thickened solid-wood frames, wrapped the exteriors in waterproof film, and lined the interiors with shock-absorbing foam. We also applied additional reinforcement to sensitive components-such as hydraulic cylinders, electrical control cabinets, and oil filtration assemblies-to ensure their safety.

Prior to shipment, our technical team ran comprehensive tests on every machine-including no-load test runs, pressure calibration, and oil filtration system checks. Only after passing all these tests were the crates sealed. This ensures that upon receiving and unpacking the equipment, the client can put it to use immediately, saving them the hassle of performing their own debugging and adjustments.
This shipment features a "Golden Duo": Hydraulic Oil Press + Vacuum Oil Filter
In Nigeria, the primary crops processed include coconuts, peanuts, sesame seeds, rapeseed, sunflower seeds, soybeans, and walnuts. The solution we designed for this client pairs a hydraulic oil press with a vacuum oil filter, allowing them to handle both the oil extraction and filtration processes simultaneously.

First, regarding the oil press: It employs a static hydraulic pressing mechanism. Unlike screw-type presses, it generates no high-temperature friction, making it suitable for both cold-pressing and hot-pressing applications. The pressure is stable yet adjustable, ensuring that optimal oil extraction rates are achieved for a wide variety of raw materials. The residual oil content in the dry cake is kept below 7%, minimizing material waste. This machine is robust and durable, prone to few malfunctions, and features simple operation-making it easy for local workers in Africa to learn and master. Furthermore, the oil produced through this low-temperature pressing method retains its full aroma and nutritional value-qualities that are highly valued in the local market.

Next, regarding the oil filter: Freshly extracted crude oil typically contains sediment, moisture, and impurities. By running the oil through this vacuum oil filter, it becomes instantly clear and bright-eliminating the need to wait several days for natural sedimentation to occur. Once filtered, the oil can be bottled and sold immediately, offering an attractive and marketable appearance. In this way, a single set of equipment allows a client to set up an entire small-scale oil pressing production line.

Why are African clients willing to purchase our machinery?
Nigeria is rich in oil-bearing crops, and the demand for small-to-medium-scale oil pressing and processing has been steadily on the rise. The reason for our strong sales performance in Africa boils down to five key points: our machines can handle the wide variety-and sometimes inconsistent quality-of local raw materials; they are user-friendly and require no specialized expertise to operate; they are robust and built to last; reliable support is available should any issues arise; and our pricing is fair and transparent.
To address the specific conditions in Africa-such as unstable power grids, high ambient temperatures, and varying skill levels among the workforce-we have modified our electrical control systems, simplified the operation panels, and applied rust-proofing treatments to the machine bodies. Furthermore, we provide our clients with English-language manuals, remote video guidance, a lifetime supply of spare parts, and comprehensive after-sales technical support. In short, we strive to ensure that every conceivable need is met to the highest standard.
Another Unit Ships Overseas
This latest shipment is destined for a new client-an order we secured largely because our machinery proved its worth during rigorous testing. This success marks yet another foothold established for us within the African market. Moving forward, we will continue to refine the quality of our machinery and enhance our service capabilities, helping our clients save money on costs while maximizing their profits.
